This is a powerful energy generating machine on the outside with a sensual, organic inside that transcends the visitors from the bustling city to a serene world of the performing arts. 
One of the positive aspects of raising the building is that it creates a generous public space around it. The square slopes gently towards the entrance, surrounded by pearls, the visitors descends fadingly into the building like entering an ocean.
A great spiral of pearls is the main focal point of the entrance hall, you can either take the elevator through it or the ramp around it, by foot or with the VIP Train of pearls, taking you all the way into the Grand Theatre.
The Grand theatre is embedded in pearls, creating a elegant and modern experience for the audience. The semi-transparent pearls are lit from behind and dim the light, creating a glowing sensation. Depending on the performance, the ambience can be set into different modes.A chandelier of pearls in the middle of the theatre drops seamlessly from the roof like a jewel, radiating an ambient light. The VIP Train is now converted into comfortable seats. 
Reaching the roof terrace, the pearls subsides into clouds. Walking around among the clouds one can experience panorama views of Taipei. 
The building performs on its own for the city, generating culture, urban life and pure sustainable energy for its vicinity. This is all strongly manifested from the visual effect of its rotating facade. 
The façade is covered with curved blades attached on segments that rotate with the wind, generating energy to the building and to the city.

Kistahöjden är ett berg i norra Kista, som ligger i norra delen av Stockholms kommun. Idag är det planerat för en tunnel genom berget som kopplar samman en nyplanerad del av Kista med Akalla i nordväst. Istället för tunnel spränger man i det här förslaget en skåra i berget och bygger bostäder längs sidorna under berget. Bostäderna nås genom loftgångar i ett bergrum i bakkant av husen. Det enda som sticker upp från marken på berget är hissarna som man kan ta om man vill upp i skogen och leka, rasta hunden, plocka bär eller bara titta på motorvägen. 
As foam masses upon the surface of the fountain at Sergels Torg, clouds form and rise slowly into the air, loosely encircling the obelisk. Light shatters upon the 80,000 crystal prisms of Kristallvertikalaccent, which becomes enveloped in a field of rising clouds. In a space composed of hard edges and glass surfaces, of exposed concrete and heavy traffic, the foam clouds appear fragile – they move slowly, softly defying gravity. They drift across the city. moving beyond the enclosure of Sergels Torg. As they rise and disperse and get lost amongst the real clouds, new clouds form at the base of the obelisk. The process is continuous. It takes time. It is, after all, a performance.
Monument No. 5 is performed over 4 days. It precedes the changing of the water of the fountain and the cleaning of Kristallvertikalaccent.The 80,000 prisms of the obelisk reflect the light of 365 different days every year, and every day the light of those prisms is frozen in time, captured and reproduced as representation in glossy press shots and the digital photographs of tourists. People experience the beauty of Kristallvertikalaccent in the creation or observation of its image – the moment of encounter is thus frozen and removed, placed in artificial sequences and sited outside of the physical space of Sergels Torg. The encounter with the artwork is in this way obscured – it is viewed through digital viewfinders and on computer screens, and the changes in light and colour and shadow, in the space that it takes and creates, are lost. At the same time, the monument is experienced physically in repetitive everyday encounters as an obstacle to movement.
Countless drivers and commuters circumnavigate its periphery, countless shoppers walk beneath it, and countless many times, it is forgotten or ignored or absorbed as one functional component of a much larger urban space. The encounter is, again, neutralised – the experience of function absorbs the experience of beauty.Rather than propose the creation of a new monument in a new space – new beauty to be momentarily noted and then forgotten, or uprooted by its own representation – what we propose is a temporary performance, an artwork dedicated to the existing beauty of an existing artwork, in an existing space. In such a way, we wish to reframe an encounter, to redirect an experience – to refocus on what is at hand, and to celebrate the beauty of what already exists. 
Execution
Liquid bath foam is poured into the pool of the fountain. Sixteen 50 liter canisters of helium are placed along the edge of the pool. They feed helium into sixteen cylindrical cages placed in the water, closer to the obelisk.The helium is released into the soapy water and the bubbles create foam which is contained by the cages. As the foam grows, the vertical force of the helium pulls away clouds of foam that rise along the obelisk, soaring away over the buildings of Stockholm.Different sizes of cages allow for different sizes of clouds that release at different intervals. Each canister of helium lasts for fifty minutes and every fifty minutes empty canisters are replaced manually with new ones. The performance will last for four days, each day for seven hours.

Etapp 1 byggs just nu och till hösten startar etapp 2. Sammanlagt omfattar de 600 bostäder. Fullt uttbyggd kommer Rikstens Friluftsstad, som den har döpts, att omfatta 2500 bostäder. I etapp 3 planeras en grundskola från förskoleklass till årskurs 9 som ska rymma 600 elever. Det är den skolan som ligger till grund för det här projektet.
Projektet utgår från klassrummet som grundblock. I allt fler skolor de senaste tio åren så har klassrumsmiljön ersatts av ytor som mer liknar kontorslandskap. Flera klasser delar på större, öppna ytor och mindre grupprum som ger möjlighet för genomgångar och enskilt arbete. Resultaten har varit varierande. Ofta har de stora öppna ytorna blivit för stökiga och det har varit svårt att bedriva en fokuserad undervisning. Det har lösts genom att grupprummen förvandlats till klassrum och glaspartier täkts för. Ibland har man blivit tvungen att dela av ytorna i efterhand. Konsekvensen har varit små klassrum utan dagsljus eller tillräcklig ventilation. En miljö som är den raka motsatsen till det den från början var tänkt att bli.
Den här skolan kan ses som en renäsans för klassrummet och de kvaliteér som det representerar.
Genom att tillhandahålla avdelbara klassrum skapas en lugn och fokuserad miljö för undervisning. Men med klassrummets fördelar kommer också alla dess nackdelar.
De flesta svenska skolor som är i bruk idag är byggda under 50-70 talet, även om senare tillägg har gjorts. De representerar den traditionella klassrum-korridor typologin och här blir klassrummets nackdelar tydliga. Den tydliga uppdelning gör det svårt att bedriva undervising på ett tematiskt och klassöverspännande sätt. Klassrummen är skapade för 20-25 elever, varken mer eller mindre, och de korridorer som kopplar dem samman förstärker i realiteten uppdelningen och är svåra för pedagogiken att ta sig över. Då de flesta klasser idag inehåller uppemot 30 elever blir det även svårt att skapa olika miljöer innom klassrummen. På så sätt blir det svårare att bedriva ett pedagogiskt arbete som fokuserar på individen och söker att anpassa miljön efter barnens individuella förutsättningar och personligheter.
Lösningen har i det här projektet blivit att helt enkelt göra klassrummen större, de är ca 75 m2 stora, och kvadratiska. På så sätt blir det enklare att möblera eller dela av dem och skapa rum i rummet.
Den andra viktiga faktorn i skolans utformning har varit hur klassrummen förhåller sig till varandra. De sprids ut över tomten på ett närmast slumpmässigt vis och justeras sedan i förhållande till varandra så att fungerande ytor skapas mellan dem, vissa ytor är innomhus medans andra är utomhus. Alla erbjuder möjlighet för pedagogiken att “rinna ut” ur klassrummen. Ytorna som ligger innomhus kan sedan delas av med ett system av skärmväggar som fästs mot undertaket. Ytorna utomhus är formade som sekvenser av gårdar med varierande storlek. De blir som utomhusklassrum och de stora öppningsbara glaspartierna gör det enkelt för undervisningen att flyttas utomhus.
Skolan försöker på så sätt ta tillvara på de bästa egenskaperna från klassrums-korridor typologier såväls som från de öppna lösningarna. Skolan blir till en by, ett minisamhälle och kan på så sätt klara av de förändring som ständigt sker och fortsätter att ske inom pedagogiken.
Klassrummen är organiserade i kluster på 3 – 4 klassrummen som delar på en gemensam yta innomhus. Klustrena är grupperade tre och tre i en lågstadiedel, F-5, och en högstadiedel, 6-9. Mellan dem ligger de gemnsamma delarna av programmet som laboratorie, slöjdsal, matsal och personalutrymmen. Den redan befintliga gymnastiksalen används som den är och blir en del av den nya skolan.
Som en ekonomisk eftergift för skolans kvaliteér (stora ytor, stora fasadytor, stora och öppningsbara fönster samt många takfönster) så blir skolan konstruktion och material enkla. En stomme av träreglar bär upp en balkrost och kläs i korrugerad plåt. Insidan av skolan kläs i obehandlad plywood och fungerar som en målarduk för undervisningen att lämna avtryck på. Den kan målas efter behov och smak, hyllor kan spikas upp, tavlor flyttas runt och när den slitits ut sätter man enkelt upp en ny skiva som i sin tur anpassas till den undervisning som pågår. Ett undertak av akustikplattor och lampor hänger över klassrummen och de gemensamma ytorna. Det gör det möjligt att dela upp ytorna i mindre delar och gör det möjligt att enkelt ändra det artificiella ljuset. Genom taket slår lanterninger upp öppningar mot himlen och släpper in dagsljus i de inre delarna. Installationer dras enkelt genom balkrosten övanför undertaket.
Skolan färgsätts i en färgskala som går från grönt till gult. Det kan ses som en referens till den tidigare verksamheten på platsen (flygbas) men är framför allt till för att förstärka skolans uppbrutna och fragmenterade karaktär. Den gröna färgen smyger in i den omgivande grönskan samtidigt som den starkt gula färgen sticker ut och ger variation och karaktär åt de olika uterummen.
Ett kanalsystem som fångar upp regnvatten rinner genom skolans lågstadie del och i högstadiedelen finner man en asfalterad skolgård.

Confronted with a tight budget, an 10×14 m exhibition space and the desire to show off, Markus and Rutger decided to put volume where it matters. The usual exhibition-space-volume (a semi-closed, one story box) was turn in to a sign and suspended from the ceiling of the convention hall, as high up in the air as possible, in order to attract attention and to provide a large and open space beneath it. Pulling the spandex-ceiling of the space up as well provided room for the projection screen (the main focal point of the interior) and created a spacious room beneath the hovering volume. The sound reducing properties of the ceiling together with color, lighting and ambient sounds, replace walls in order to create a sense of “inside”.In the flotsam and jetsam environment of Europe’s largest electronics fair, calmness turned out to be a huge attraction. Ett till spegelprojekt. Väntkurer placeras på perrongen och vid busshållplatserna vid Kista station. Speglar hängs upp på tågbron och gör att buss- och tågresenärerna äntligen kan börja interagera med varandra visuellt.
Another mirror project. Located at Kista station. waiting booths are being placed on the train platform and one level down at the bus stops. Mirrors hanging from the bridge allow people on the different levels to interact with each other.

Proposal for a temporary modern dance theatre.
Due to the refurbishment of the the modern dance theatre at Skeppsholmen, the The theatre has to move to another venue for one year. This project propose to move the dance theatre to the courtyard of the royal palace in Gamla stan, Stockholm. The courtyard is currently almost never used and is one of the biggest non built areas in the inner city of Stockholm. Instead of building a small theatre in the courtyard, the whole courtyard is covered by a roof consisting of four big beams and a scaffolding cassette roof. The roof is put on pillars to make it a self supporting structure and not touching the palace itself. The roof makes the courtyard a totally dark and silent space. The scale of the room contra the program of the modern dance theatre is somehow absurd and eliminates the need of walls between the different program functions. The program functions can be seen as furniture put out in this big room.

Ett centrum för kulturverksamhet i Lijeholmens industriområde. Kulturverksamhet kombineras med kontor och bostäder i en volym som blir aktiv 24 timmer om dygnet. Ett vertikalt kvarter, och en ikon som lyfter fram Stockholm som landets främsta mecenat av kultur och media.
Liljeholmens industriområde är ett område med redan stark kulturidentitet. Men de omkringliggande industriområdena som i dag ger liv och dynamik åt området planeras att exploateras, delas upp i stora tomter och säljas av till de enda som har råd att köpa dem: De fyra byggbolag som länge dominerat bostadsproduktionen i Sverige. Finns det alternativ? 
Istället för ta bort byggnader adderas en ny. De gamla husen som ägts av Beckers (Beckers ska nu lämna området) med en tradition som går tillbaka till sekelskiftet sparas. Men omprogrammeras. Den stora fabriksbyggnaden karvas ur och en enorm hall med överljus skapas, omgiven av gallerier i fyra våningar. De mindre husen används som ateljéer och innehåller vissa publika funktioner. Den tidigare avstängda industrikajen öppnas upp och gör det möjligt för promenerande att passera längs med vattnet genom området.
Den nya byggnaden inkluderar ett mediatek, en folkhögskola, bostäder, kontor, och en scen och utställningsdel som kopplas till den gamla fabriken i söder samt till färgfabriken i norr. På så sätt skapas en kulturarkad i bottenvånngen som även utgör entré till funktionerna ovanför. Programmen staplas på varandra och bildar vertikala kvarter med olika dygnsrytm och intensitet.
Paradoxalt nog blir den slagskugga volymen kastar över området till öster även områdets räddning. Då skuggan omöjliggör framtida bostadsexploatering kan alternativa exploateringsformer utredas och implementeras. Liljehomens intensitet förstärks och attraktiviteten i de omgivande bostadsområdena (gröndal, nybohov, årstadal m.m.) förstärks. Den förlorade bostadsexploateringen kan kompenseras i dessa områden. 
De genomgående rummen i bostäderna och de övriga programmens öppna planer låter eftermiddagssolen lysa “igenom” volymen. Den västra fasaden reflekterar ner ljus i den stora hallen och lyser upp industrikajen. Ljuset som släpps igenom lyser upp den östra fasaden som annonserar området mot entrén från öster.
Landskap som byggnad; topografi definierar rörelse och rum. Kunskap som vegetation. Informationsteknologi i en picknick-korg; gläntan blir sammanträdesrum, snåret en avskild studieplats, kullarna informationspunkter och utsikt blir översikt. Projekt från första året på Arkitekturskolan, KTH.
